Our Dissertation Colloquium is an inter-university platform. We warmly invite all students in UK universities pursuing a taught or research Master’s degree in economics or related disciplines to participate, in any form – presenting your own work or just listening and discussing.

We believe this would be a fantastic opportunity for you to meet like-minded future economists from other leading universities across the UK, other than to obtain useful feedback and suggestions for your dissertation.

TRANSPORTATION REIMBURSEMENT
We understand the transportation cost needs due consideration if you travel from distant places like Scotland. We offer complimentary lunch and dinner for this free event, unfortunately we do not provide further reimbursement for transportation. However please be aware that your home department might be able to cover it upon your request, for example School of Economics, University of Edinburgh in previous cases. Also, booking in advance usually saves substantially; try the coach alongside the train, e.g., MegaBus/NationalExpress offers attractive prices.

Coventry can be easily reached via car, train or bus. For directions please read the tips below and check Visiting Warwick.

TRAIN/COACH: If you are arriving by train make sure you come to Coventry Rail Station and not Warwick Rail Station. If you are arriving by National Express and getting off at Pool Meadow. After your arrive at Coventry Rail Station/Pool Meadow please take bus number 11 or 12 to the University of Warwick and get off at the “Warwick Arts Centre” stop.

MEGABUS: If you are arriving by Megabus, the Coventry stop “Cannon Park” is just a few minutes’ walk from the venue.
